30th Nov. Day 5 Cartagena, Columbia

This morning we awoke in the Port San Pedro in Columbia and it was a early start for us, we did think it would be an even earlier one, as there were rumours that we might have put the clocks forward last night but fortunately we didn’t, so the 7am early rise this morning was not as bad as we thought it could have been. We were going on a Celebrity arranged tour of the old and new towns and we met at 8:30 and boarded the tour bus. Now the weather was easily in the high 80’s and it was humid so today was going to be a hot one, our Tour guide Joyce was very informative, maybe too informative because we had to wait around in the heat for ages each time she educated us about a certain fact, all very interesting but my God it was hard going, bearing in mind non of us had any real breakfast this morning, but we all had a good time and it was nice to be in a place we had not been too before.
We ended up back at the ship at around 1:15pm absolutely drained and starving. Its a a great day but OMG hard on us. So after a hearty lunch we decided to try the afternoon quiz on Broadway Shows which was at 3:00pm it was 15 questions listening to music from the shows and we had to guess which ones, well we thought we were doing quite well until the end when everyone in the room got 14/15 and we got 8. So not feeling particular great we headed back to the rooms to get ready for tonight.
